Fire caused by short-circuit at Takshashila Complex On 24th May, 2019 in Sarthana Area at Surat, a short-circuit took place at the ground floor of Takshashila Complex which led to burning of wires and circuits first and then eventually the small compartment of main power unit was on fire. The fire had spread to the second floor. The third floor also caught fire and the dome of the Complex also caught fire which was attached to the fourth floor by a steel and wooden staircase. At the fourth floor there were running coaching classes in which there were approximately 30-45 students and teaching staff also. The fire spread more quickly because of the tires that were used as benches in the classes.  The Teachers also showed cruelty and inhuman behaviour by escaping the classes without informing the students.
